Flame Pak

The SS100A Protectofier Flame Pak plug-in electronic sensing unit delivers rapid flame detection using the flame rectification principle. This device offers two sensing options: it can either utilize a flame rod to generate a direct current (DC) signal sent to the Flame Pak or employ the PCI P-C II U-V scanner, which creates a DC signal through an ultraviolet (UV) sensitive tube. The flame rod method involves detecting the flame through its electrical conductivity, while the UV scanner method uses ultraviolet light to sense the presence of a flame. Both methods ensure immediate and reliable flame monitoring for enhanced safety and operational efficiency in combustion systems.
