Yes, every paint booth needs a fire suppression system. Without a fire suppression system, the finishing system violates the NFPA 33 code. Remember, paint is being sprayed within the booth and collecting potentially flammable and/or explosive materials in that space. It is both a code violation and health risk for buildings and painters.
